What's for Dinner & School Lunch Week of 10/20
Meal planning for lower tox living
What’s for dinner and school lunch this week (week of October 20, 2015)
Here is what’s for dinner ( 2 adults, 3 kids ages 3,12, & 15) and school lunch x 2 (3 yr old and 12 year old). Most recipes are gluten free since 2 of us are gluten free.
Monday: PALEO SALSA CHICKEN TACOS
Tuesday: Ground pork stir fry
Wednesday: Shrimp and grits I actually don’t eat seafood very often because of all the contaminants in seafood today (microplastics, PFAS, mercury and beyond) but if you are eating shrimp, choose wild, not farmed.
Thursday: Sheet Pan Moroccan-Spiced Chicken with Sweet Potatoes & Cauliflower For sheet pan recipes (and cookies and more) remember to invest in a stainless steel baking sheet ( I like Allclad and 360 stainless steel discount code : AIDASPICKS
Friday: We are going camping!
SCHOOL LUNCH
Bento box with: hummus, cucumber, tomatoes, olives, carrots, sharp cheddar cheese and rice crackers (I like Lundberg Family Farms Organic Rice cakes because they test for arsenic and are organic)
Chicken tacos (with leftover chicken from Monday’s dinner)
Healthy chicken salad ( on bread for daughter and lettuce wraps for son) yogurt, celery, shredded chicken, sprinkle paprika on Erewhon gluten free bread
Polenta with tomato capresa
‘Fried rice” made with rice, green beans, scrambled eggs, scallions and soy sauce
