New Year Priorities
Every start of a year brings about opportunities: assessing what worked and what didnt work in the past year and establishing new habits etc. This year these are my areas that I will be working on,
Less screen time more face time. At home, on the street, just about everywhere more connection less screens. I will be honest I struggle with Instagram in particular. A lot of my work is there ( dms, comments etc) which always leads me to getting distracted and then an hour later I realized its been an hour of scrolling. I also find that when I am waiting for something when I am out and about, I always turn to my phone instead of connecting with the world around me. I am going to set limits for myself during the day, minimize it in the afternoon hours, when the kids get home from school, and eliminated after a certain time in the night.
Be more social: after 2 years dealing with chronic EBV and Mold I was always way too exhausted to be social. The idea of getting dressed and going somewhere was excruciating and even worse hosting someone in my house. But since we don’t have family locally that does lead to a little bit of isolation. So this year, now that I am feeling a little better, I hope to make it a priority to connect with friends again.
10k steps + a day. For Christmas, I received a pedometer and a weighted vest. I absolutely loved how much I walked in Barcelona every single day and while it’s harder to do that when you live in a suburb, I am committed to increasing my daily movement.
Drink more water! I am actually setting up a water station/ filter in my bedroom with a hope that that will encourage me to drink even more water.
In short, this year I am looking to connect more with my family, my friends, my community, my clients and nature and myself and less with screens!
You might have noticed Low tox living is not listed! What I love about my personal journey with Loxx living is that I’ve been doing it for so long that it is already second nature. My son yesterday walked into the bathroom asking me for my red light therapy Lumebox because his stomach was hurting, my husband is working on his sourdough starter, my teen loves his Osea (AIDASPICKS10) and Primally Pure ( 10% discount code : 3LITTLEPLUMS) face products and Just ingredient deodorant ( discount “ 3LITTLEPLUMS)) ( lmk if you want to know which products he uses) . We aren’t perfect and actually, I am looking for some low tax living upgrades in the new year however, these are not things that are stressing me out anymore. Because when you spend years implementing small changes, it just becomes second nature!
What are areas you are prioritizing in 2025? Please do let me know how I can support you Low tox living is one of your focuses in the New year! The specific requests are really helpful thank you so much wishing you a lot of wellness and happiness in 2025

When did you switch your teen from kid soap etc. products?
