That’s why I’m pretty picky about something I use on my face every day — and that my teens use too.
I want a cleanser that cleans without stripping or irritating the skin.
And I avoid unnecessary fragrance, certain irritating preservatives, and ingredients that can introduce contaminants during manufacturing.
For me, it’s about reducing repeated exposures when there’s an easy alternative.
I’ve tried a LOT of face washes, and this new one has quickly become a favorite.

This is the first Primally Pure cleanser that I love for my skin. It just launched but I have been using it for almost 2 weeks and so far like it a lot. Starts as a jelly and when you add water becomes more of a traditional wash, but still protects your skin’s barrier so no overdrying while still removing makeup!

This one is very gentle. I find its not great at removing makeuyp but is great for tweens and early teens who do not need anything too strong. My 13 year old is now using this one.
This is one of my favs for “special” skin…. by special I mean: acne, roseacea, irritated skin etc. It cleanses (and removes makeup) but protects the skin barrier.
If you are looking for an oil cleanser this is my fav. A friend recommended it like 10 years ago and I still go back to it every so often….. you do need an organic towel to wash off (so, nope, my 16 year old would not use)

My 16 year old uses this pretty regularly (sometimes he just washes face in the shower ) it is a deeper cleanse that he likes to use particularly after sports practice (its thick and brown but washes off easily- just fyi!
Earthtonic Cardamom Cream Cleanser
This company is located in Ojai California and thye make all of their products (which are amazing) in house right there. I like a lot of their products but it was their cleanser that first caught my attention. ITs a soft cream that you wash off with a moistened clothes … I am obsessed…. my teen son thought it was too much of a pain to not be able to just wash it off with water.
