Choosing A Non-Toxic Cutting Board
I recently updated my block post on cutting boards. I originally wrote it back in 2021 and new research recently came out showing just how bad plastic cutting boards are ( These were always the ones to avoid But now we have more research to back our opinions!) . Additionally, new types of cutting boards ( Specifically titanium cutting boards) Are now available. Titanium cutting boards can actually be a good option, but you need to make sure they are to titanium and not stainless steel or other materials being used instead which happens to be a common practice. They are finished with raw linseed oil and carnauba wax.

They have various models and styles of cutting boards but all are made with in the USA with certified sustainably grown walnut wood and Every purchase plants a tree. The downside is that they are not one solid piece of wood they do have some glue….
